Jayanti Celebration

Jayanti celebration or celebration of memorial days of the tribal heroes like Birsa Munda, Budhu Bhagat, Telenga Kharia, Madri Kalo, Nirmal Munda is an important activity of Sanskruti Kendra. Often these celebrations are conducted in the premises of Sanskruti Kendra, and sometimes they are jointly celebrated with other groups in the town or nearby villages.

The purpose of these celebrations with the public is to rejoice over the exemplary live and achievements of these heroes so that the people specially the youth and children are aware of them, pride over them and emulate their examples for the service of common people. The important other purpose is to bring to awareness of the Government as well as the other larger groups of people about the heroic deeds of these great heroes and carve out a place for them in the wider circle.
